Leadership of Medical Weight Loss Center is provided by Dr. Kent Vye who has 30 years of extensive, clinical experience. Dr. Vye graduated in 1985 from the University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Vye relocated to Yakima after his internship and has been practicing here since 1988. Dr Vye is a clinical leader in treating addiction and working to advance the prevention and treatment of obesity.Professional certifications:

Candace Degesnstein, ARNP
Earned her Family Nurse Practitioner Degree in 1993 and graduated Magnum Cum Laude from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama. Candace is empathic and understands the challenges facing her patients as they try to juggle their commitments, care for themselves, and go through major lifestyle changes with their health.
Her interest in helping her patients on their personal journey and achieving their health care goals is sparked through her varied experience in the medical field. She has worked in Women’s Health Care, Preventive Imaging, Family Practice and understands the importance of a holistic, comprehensive approach to medicine and the treatment of obesity.
Candace currently resides in the Tri-Cities where she enjoys spending time with her family, working out, and new adventures.
Bo has Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology, is Yoga Medicine Certified, and is currently Clinic Coordinator for Medical Weight Loss Center. Bo brings her background in anatomy and physiology to help clients understand the function and dysfunction of the human body while integrating a whole-body, optimal-health approach for healing.
